e cooked and served over 125 meals yesterday at the New Hope Centre Salvation Army Nanaimo Community Ministries. Very sad to see again first hand how desperate the lives of some in our community have become. Very happy to be able to give them some sustenance to survive the day. Huge thanks to S.A. staff Ed and Judy for coming in early to make sure we had everything we needed, and to show us the new equipment and procedures.
