Donations for founder of the CO2 offset Trust

A motion to become the 10^th founding club of the CO₂ Offset Trust was approved at our business meeting on September 16^th. The CO₂ Offset Trust - 'Rotarians for CO₂ Reduction' - is an International Rotary Club-to-Club Project backed by nine Clubs in seven Districts on four continents. We are the first club in District 5020 and the first club in Canada to join.

The club will donate US$1000 to the offset trust to help it become established. This amount will be raised by pooling payments from members who wish to offset their air travel. Members wishing to participate can determine the amount of their payment in several ways: 1) Use the MS Excel calculator in the download area of the club webpage; 2) Read the amount from the table of airline flight offset costs in the download area of the webpage; 3) Give Craig your flight itineraries so that he can perform the calculation; 4) Donate an amount of your choosing.

Craig will collect the payments & ensure that they are properly identified for Lynda.
